UNT OHP COLLECTION... The UNT Oral History Program started in 1964 and has added over 2,100 transcripts and multiple digital projects to our archives. Interview topics include: WWII Veterans (1,000+), Denton history, African-American history, entrepreneurial history, university history, histories of the Holocaust, the New Deal, Texas politics, LGBTQ+, immigration and other subjects. Students, journalists, researchers, genealogists, government agencies and members of the general public have used the collection to publish and produce journalistic and scholarly articles, books, genealogies, documentaries, podcasts, websites and other materials.
