Geezle Fraternity Oral History Project

The Geezle Fraternity existed as the oldest social fraternity at North Texas from 1929 until 1969. During those 40 years, many young men devoted themselves to "inculcating and promoting friendship among men of the College." But they did more than this--so much more!! When they left North Texas, these dutiful men succeeded in many fields--in business, education, public administration, medicine, and other activities of human focus. While those in the 1930s-40s are now deceased, some members from the 1950s and 1960s are available to share their memories of the Geezle Fraternity, its impact on their lives, the values they acquired, the friends they made, and the ideals from their Geezle experience that shaped their careers. The Geezle Oral History Project devotes itself to recording those unique adventures.
