Information Science professor and refugee from Bosnia to the U.S. Family’s experiences as refugees from the Bosnian War to the United States as she fled from her birthplace of Bosnia to Croatia, and then eventually to the U.S.; memories of her childhood in Bosnia and Croatia and how she remembers her culture; adjusting to life in the US, and how these experiences led her to her career in archival studies; volunteer work with the Mass Memories Road Show and efforts to help create a “digital community archive” of refugees.
