Description | For the Postpartum Depression and Maternal Mental Health Oral History Project. Jabina Coleman is a reproductive psychotherapist and a board-certified lactation consultant. She discusses her work as a social worker, and her work on Black maternal mental health and perinatal mood disorders like postpartum depression. She discusses her businesses, Life House Lactation & Perinatal Services and Breastfeeding Awareness and Empowerment (BAE). The interview also focuses on her work as a co-founder of Postpartum Support International (PSI)’s Perinatal Mental Health Alliance for People of Color in 2017.
