Pre-war duty at International Settlement, Shanghai, with 4th Marines; fall of Corregidor and capture; Camp O’Donnell, 1942; Cabanatuan, 1942-43; Clark Field, 1943-44; Bilibid Prison, Manila, 1944; hell ship to Japan, 1944; American air raids; Yokohama and Kawasaki, 1945; liberation.
