Military Service: U.S. Navy WWII Veteran
His experiences while aboard the submarine USS Sargo in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Assignment to the Sargo, 1941; his responsibilities as a yeoman; early war patrols off the Netherlands East Indies and Philippines; transfer to the Submarine Division Commander’s Office, Pearl Harbor, 1944; postwar duty in the Submarine Service.
